My role as your celebrant is to help couples take the next bold leaps in their lives together, including asking you the fundamental question: why are you choosing to get married?
The answers you give and the vision you have about your special day, are the basis for how we create a unique ceremony filled with personallised content specific to your love and lives.
Weddings are my forte, especially in creating unique and personal celebrations. I take the view that you are not just party planners, but friends, lovers and companions who are about to embark on something marvelous together, because every ceremony, like you, is unique.
Besides the mandatory legal stuff, your ceremony is totally free to be created in your words, to represent your life and the love in your relationship. I am super flexible and deliver ceremonies with panache, humour, laughter and love.
Why a Celebrant (and not a professional motorcycle racer*)?
I developed my passion for delivering great wedding ceremonies while managing a notable historic heritage site that was a popular wedding venue – I became the “mother-of-the-bride” fixer. I also witnessed a LOT of boring, impersonal weddings! These experiences led me to understand the importance placed on tailoring ceremonies for couples and their loved ones. I respect and encourage a lot of thought in the structure, the words and symbolic rituals and customs used in your ceremony. I know that for some, expressing this can be hard, and it is my role to help you every step of the way. No question and no idea is too difficult.
